Ang asteeg. Hahaha. It's about an old Japanese card game called Karuta.

The idea of the game is much like the game Japanese play during New Year? Where one person would describe a certain card through a poem, and mag-uunahan lahat sa pagkuha nun.

Sa Karuta nga lang, there are 100 cards, and 100 poems. Bale, a player must memorize all the hundred peoms, kasi, a reader would recite the first line, and the player must pick the card with the second line. 'Ayun.

With the romance brewing on the side, I almost wished na wala 'yun because I'm finding it hard to choose what pairing I should cheer for, pero... Yeah yeah...

Season 1 pa nga lang. :( At sa manga naman, bakit may gap? Chapters 39-87 are missing to every manga-hosting sites I've entered.Ang saklap!!!!

I'm also currently reading Black Bird, and before an otaku react, oh, I'm sure a REAL OTAKU won't, yes, I admit, it is in the smut section, but who can resist an awesome storyline?

Much like Desire Climax, was what I thought at first... An then, pooof! I'm reading it.

Tengu's are so cool, with their wings and swords, and I'm curius how Misao and Kyou would end up.

Another anime is.... Tada! Full Metal Panic!!!

It's a good thing I already got hold of the episodes, since I've wanted to watch it but didn't have the resources to do so.

The plot thickens. It does. Oh my God...
The chapter isn't much of a tragic one, but not that all happy.

It's actually a good thing that Rei (Persona) has changed sides already. All of the things that I've posted about him before is still to be corrected, and it's not as if I said something so mean. In a way, I can sympathize with him. But please!!! Stop torturing me with Natsume's future!!!!

He will live, right?
I'll certainly go mad if by any chance, he'll get killed, either by the enemies, or by his own alice. His mother had lived long enough to create a family, and she died in an accident. Although I cry for his father, that is what is supposed to be. That is the payment for having such a strong alice. But, he didn't even ask for it. If only they could've lived in an alternate universe, but then Gakuen Alice would cease to exist.

I don't know, this update took a month to be released, and I'm waiting restlessly for the next chapter.

Wedding Gown

“This will be your wedding gown,” Anna said excitedly to Mikan, mentioning the very unique invention of Hotaru. It looked regal yet simple, lacy fabric adorned with shiny jewels and intricate stitches. Mikan beamed and tried to reach for it when a scanner surfaced from all of the laces. “Program scanning… beep…beep… Confirmed baka, Mikan Sakura,” the program said, then went to wherever it came from inside the gown. They all just stood there, dumbfound.

“Oh, I forgot to mention my alterations on the traditional wedding gown,” Hotaru said, with her usual cold, stoic face. It has its built-in scanner to guarantee that the real Mikan Sakura is wearing it and once you do wear the gown, no man can approach you within a meter-radius without being…” she smiled sardonically. Every girl in the room gulped. Poor Natsume.

Wedding Cake

“You ready Anna? You think you can handle these ingredients?” Nonoko asked her best friend, as they get ready for shopping the most-needed ingredient for Mikan and Natsume’s wedding. They are planning to surprise the would-be-newly-wed with their own version of the wedding cake.

“Yup, I have completed the list of the ingredients,” Anna answered. They have to prepare the rare octopus eyes and brains, their devilled eggs of a huge lizard and the ever-kicking frozen frog’s hindlegs. “This is going to be fun!” the two of them squealed happily and had the same thought, “ they are so going to love this!”

Reception Theme

“The theme is----,” Yuu, who was in-charge for the reception, was cut-off by Narumi-sensei, who just barged in the hall, wearing *sigh* fairy wings. “Fairy Tale theme! Okay everyone! Go to work! We need fairy lamps all over the place, some fireflies, and costumes! Yes, costumes!” he chattered excitedly, but no one listened to him. Everyone was busy just doing what they think would be great, so the hall was a very huge mess.

“I got an idea!” one of the Misakis raised her hand, “Why don’t we just use Iincho’s alice? Less trouble for preparations!” Everyone clapped and shouted their hurrahs, forgetting that their bride, Mikan Sakura, has the Nullifying Alice.

Entertainment

“Oh my God! Reo Mori is goint to be invited! OMG!!,” fanboys and fangirls shouted and went to ambush the said singer. It was expected, of course, that there will be guards surrounding him while he enter the place. What wasn’t expected was that for those guards to be tied up, naked in the garden. The fake guards, who turned to be the crazed fan girl, are now hugging, kissing, and harassing the singer, until he cried out for help (they were wearing Hotaru’s anti-voice pheromone earpiece). The result: 16 broken bones, so Reo is much like a mummy now. Everyone is now agitated and nervous, there will be no one to sing for the couple in the reception. “Quiet!” Jinno-sensei roared like thunder. “We have no singer noe and it is my duty to ensure that nothing goes wrong!” he added. “One question, who’s gonna sing now?” Sumire ventured to ask. Jin-jin cleared his throat, “well, I tried to audition for the choir once…”

“Natsume, don’t you feel bad?” Mikan asked Natsume.

“Hm? About what?”

“Well, they’re trying their best you know.”

“They still sucked, and besides, their works still won’t go to waste.”

“So we’re still getting married for them?”

“If you mean, get married in the church your uncle prepared for us, then yes.” This time, he smiled, as if remembering something nice. He sighed and placed his right hand on top of hers. A couple of gold rings sparkled from their entwined fingers. Ahh, having a simple ceremony on the temple was definitely peaceful.

          I know that it wasn't your fault. You actually curse yourself because you are...YOU. To spend your childhood being feared, pitied upon, to find out that your Alice is a curse, it is hard. Then a very special person brought light in your dark world and he gave you hope. He made you smile. That was your teacher,the father of the girl that you detest now. Why do you hate her? Because she reminds you of him, your teacher who pledged to bring you out once you are able to control your gift. The very man who taught you good things. The ONLY person who treated you as you are, a child then.
 And what did you just do? You killed him! You were blinded by rage installed upon you by the ESP, you were manipulated! Of course, you can't realize that then for you are so young. You just destroyed a wish. You destroyed a very simple wish, and destroyed not just one soul, but two. When will you realize that the one who really is concerned about your well-being has been killed, by you.
Then came Nobara, she was just like you, along with the other members of the Dangerous Ability Class. You were her savior, do you know that? She actually sees you as someone who took her hand and led to a world full of superficial judgements, fear and dark motives. You thrust her into a world wherein she is forced to utilize her Alice to do missions, to fight. You are turning her to be like you. It was going smoothly until a ray of sunshine washed upon her. Until the day that she met Mikan Sakura, your teacher's daughter, and she smiled at your precious Nobara.
You see, she knows you, she aches for you. She loved you. And by the time that she made you listen and think about who you really are, you had touched her, inflicting a fatal pain that is your Alice.
You see it clearly now. You realized it now as her soul touches you. As her soul leaves her body. You had killed yet another person , the second person to see you as you. Persona, you are one character that I cannot fathom. Pitiable, because you are the one who needed love badly.

Stop him from over-exerting himself. Please do not let Natsume use his alice much longer. That would.... That would kill him for God's sake!

You hear that Natsume? Be aware of life! Don't just f***ing go kill yourself, because that will hurt the girl you love all the more. If only the teachers did something about this beforehand, it would have saved them a lot of trouble, and your life might not be in this kind of ruins now. Twelve years ago, someone did try and change the system. They were your mother, and Mikan's parents. You might not believe it, but your lives are already intertwined even before you are born, so don't just go and severe that bond.

Gakuen Alice Chapter 154

That Certain Chapter

Me blabbering about my reactions, my take on Gakuen Alice and its latest chapter as of July 30, 2011, Chapter 149.

That’s it! They’re already a couple!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Depending on the number of exclamation points that I had used, one can obviously say that I am shrieking and jumping with joy already. After those depressing chapters, I found a glimpse of hope that maybe, just maybe, they will have a happy ending and for some unknown reasons, Natsume would be able to escape his impending death due to the state of his alice. I just have to write this down! So for those who took interest in reading this and coincidently likes to read mangas or watch anime, this one’s a SPOILER ALERT!

As I’ve said, I just have to write this one. I’m so overjoyed about the unfolding plot that I have to let it out. So yeah, Chapter 149 is out, and after a month of waiting patiently, (I exaggerated a bit, I’m not the waiting-type), and an hour of patiently reading it because God knows, Smart Bro did have the right timing to have freakin’ errors!

I really, really…. Like all the million fans of this story, hope that they would end up TOGETHER! May it be in Life, or in DEATH, as long as they would be together! I am blabbering and I can’t help it. Wait,! Another thing, I’m also a fan of TsubasaMisaki Pairing and it gave me the goosebumps to read that one very special page. You’ll come out of this alive, ne Tsubasa-senpai? All of you!!!

Natsume called Mikan his what? How about you read the chapter now? How I wish I can have Kokoroyome’s Alice, it so COOL!!! But I also think that it is the most painful alice to have for the owner. You can read everyone’s thought and that would mean everything, all the good and bad things that they think. Sometimes,  not knowing is safer.

After reading the 10+ chapters of the Time-travel arc, and got to know Natsume’s mom who had the Life-shortening type of Alice, and after reading that he did inherit that type, I cried. Even harder, when I read Natsume’s musings about his remaining hours, days, years, and that he won’t leave her, ever. Many thoughts, many conclusions shot up my head and just whirled and whirled there.

To think that they are already preparing war (Ch. 148-49), an all-out war against the Elementary School Principal, (I really hate him, he should rot in hell), those tragic thoughts once again entered my consciousness. Can’t just Tachibana-sensei give us even a tiny little glimpse of what would really happen? I’m thinking that these chapters are the penultimate chapters, since I can’t find any other issues to be cleared now. Speaking of that glimpse-slash-spoiler, I realy wouldn’t want to have it, it will destroy the built-up suspense, and the whole story itself. I loved a lot of chapters, I hated a few, I shared some, I downloaded some. And whew! What a rollercoaster heck of a ride!

I’m thinking that I would be better glad if Mikan just ‘steal’ Natsume’s Alice and let him live normally without the consequences and effects of having such a very strong Alice, but would that really yield the expected effect? Hoping so, I’ll continue to watch over it, continue to read it, and love it. And what type are Mikan’s Nullification, Stealing and Inserting Alices anyway? I feel happy for her by the way, bacause even if her father died just the day she was conceived, she was able to meet him, to call him daddy. Even if it’s just for a while. Continue holding on, to the hope, to the light that still lingers around you, and to the love that you have for your friends, for Natsume.

I’m talking to them as if they’re real, but who can say that they are not real? Saying that they are fiction isn’t saying that they are not real. REALITY is so much different, so much intriguing than the simple fact of being ‘not real’.

Awww.. I’m writing this and reading the latest chapter at the same time. They exchanged alice stones, so that means they are engaged already. Don’t you two dare to die before that destined day of your wedding. You still have a lot of things to accomplish. It’s funny how Koko would just pop during a conversation and humiliate Natsume by saying aloud what is inside the latter’s mind, that is kissing Mikan. ^^

I know I did not make any sense nor the organization of thoughts, I’m writing from the heart. Whenever I read either the latest chapters or I revisit, it still gives me the same effects. I cry with them, I laugh with them. To have to read things like,  protecting your most beloved, and not neglecting your life because the one you want to protect is doing just the same thing. To be able to wish that they would really grow up soon so they could escape the academy and lead on a normal life outside. For those lost souls to find their meaning, and of course, for Mikan and Natsume, Misaki and Tsubasa, and maybe even Hotaru and Ruka to all live happily ever after!!!!!!

Pre-Nup

A/N: First ever completed fanfic!


“Pre-nup?” Mikan Sakura’s voice was laced with hurt as she looked at her fiancee. Natsume Hyuuga just shrugged. He invited her someplace and she willingly obliged. They are a couple for 15 years already, ever since their academy days, until now that they are released and are living peacefully outside the academy.

He proposed a month ago and they are going to be married this month. And Mikan is so shocked to learn that Natsume wanted her to sign a prenuptial agreement. She kept silent, of course, why would she decline? It’s not as if she is after the Hyuuga’s money, but the thing that had hurt her was Natsume’s distrust. This is so not like him.

She is very down and Natsume doesn’t bother to even notice it, much more ask her about her. The stupid, idiotic, selfish flame-caster. They arrived at his attorney’s place, which is, much to Mikan’s shock, Koko’s place. The mind-reader’s an attorney? In other circumstances, she is laughing already but this is not the time to be happy for others.

“Are the papers ready?” Natsume asked his friend with a surprisingly, glint in his eyes.

“Here they are.” Koko answered with his , she now realized, conspiratory grin. But Mikan is so annoyed and hurt to notice. She received the papers and began to read it, only to find these premises.


She must love her husband the way he loves her, immeasurably.

She must accept that her husband is an ass sometimes, and that may trigger fights.

She must realize that she is her husband’s ray of sunshine, that losing her would mean death to him.

She MUST always smile and never show tears, because that will break her husbands heart.

She should allow and finally accept that her husband really likes peaking at her undies, for no apparent reason other than he likes to tease her.

She should understand that her husband will be a very strict father, especially if their daughter looks so much like her, or that their son has an alice like him.

She SHOULD promise that if that day comes, she should accept it and continue on living, because that would make him happy.

She should promise that she will not look at other men except for her husband because he could kill, especially if that guy is Shadow-freak.

She should understand that in the previous premise, her husband will do the same.

And her husband swears that all the things written in this agreement are 100% true, the stupid Mind-reader attorney made sure of that.

She MUST believe that her husband will love her, cherish her, for the rest of his already short life.

Lastly, if ever she gave up on being herself, smiling stupidly, whining unreasonably and loving her husband, he will die of a broken heart.



This agreement, written this 23rd of July, exactly a month before their wedding, is a proof of the husband’s undying love and devotion to his wife.As a promise, he will do anything he can, even do the impossible for her and their would-be children’s well-being. They had gone through a lot and this agreement will be one of the bonds that will bind them forever.

After reading the last sentence, Mikan Sakura, 25 years old, smiled and asked for a pen. “This is so Natsume,” she thought as she signed the ‘Pre-nuptial Agreement’. She even ended it with With Love, Your Bride , and showed it to her husband-to-be. She is already planning for her own version of pre-nup.
