Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun (The Monster Seated Beside Me)

Waaah! Ohisashiburi!! And a Happy New Year! :D

Between Sword Art Online and Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun, I enjoyed the latter. Considering the stress, I just want some light anime that would make me smile. And what did Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun (awwkay, TNKK from now on) gave me? That warm fuzzy feeling I haven't felt for year after Kimi ni Todoke and Maid-sama. Ye.

The synopsis on Wiki is, when Mizutani Shizuku showed a simple act of kindness towards the feared but misunderstood Yoshida Haru, he considered her his first friend and subsequently fell in love with her. But that's not the actual plot. For me, it's how Haru finally decided on what he really feels, and Shizuku overcoming her selfish nature to finally accept him in her life. What made these two so funny is that they are unbearably honest, thus the typical misunderstandings of shoujo stories isn't present. They tell each other almost everything!

I can't upload pictures. I'll update as soon as I get to remember that I have to update this post.

TNKK: Absolutely a FUN watch!
